I can't stand to be in London for the bank holiday weekend so I'm getting out and going to stay with my good friends in Brighton. I've been saying I'd go down and visit for too long so now I'm going to actually go!
I've got the full weekend off so I'm bringing my bike down on the train, hopefully it won't rain the whole weekend so we can go for a cycle around, even if it is a bit hilly!

It's supposed to be horrible over the weekend which is not good, so I'll be sure to pack a rain jacket and a couple of my g star hoodies, if it's nasty out we can just stay inside and make cakes and drink, or go to a bar and relax before running home in the rain, I'll be happy just to get out of London for a while and catch up with my lovely Brigthon-dwelling cronies!

I was at a gig last night and a lot of fans were buying CDs and vinyl LPs of the bands that were playing, and it made me think of the aforementioned question: isn't everything digital nowadays?
I have tons of CDs that used to be in pride of place on CD racks in my front room, but now they're all in boxes in cupboards - I don't even own a CD player any more! Everything is digital, it's all mp3 players, iPods and digital music files on laptops and computers!

It's the same with everything these days, we need much less stuff, which is great for the environment. People have R4i cards to download games onto for their consoles, you can buy movies on iTunes, there's less and less need for actual physical products.

Job interviews can be a very daunting and nerve racking experience, however they are an essential part of the recruitment process so making sure you get it right is paramount.
One of the best bits of advice I can give you is to PREPARE. Preparation will minimise the nerves and stress associated with interviews and questions, so make sure you know the essential facts and think about what the employer may ask you.

If the interview is over the phone, you will be given advanced warning of when it will take place. Once you know this, make sure you get to a quiet place and have a pen and paper read, and if you are using your mobile, make sure its charged up and you have plenty of signal - you don't want to keep asking your prospective employer to keep repeating himself!
If the interview will be face to face, make sure you get there on time. Being late does not go down well, trust me.
Bring a hard copy of your CV and application form as the interviewer may only have a copy on their computer.
It is also a good idea to research the company and note down any questions you want to ask, as its often the case that you may forget these when prompted, I know I have!
These little tips and many more can be found at jobs so if you're in doubt, check them out.

I went to Graz last week for springfestival - an electronic music and arts festival in a beautiful city in Austria. Graz is the second biggest city in Austria after Vienna, and is absolutely stunning, one of the venues, Dom Im Berg, is literally inside a mountain. Or hill, something like that...
One of the best moments was when Patrick Wolf split his trousers and his bum was pretty much hanging out! Hilarious! We were side of stage and told not to take any photos of him from behind to spare his dignity! Haha! Someone must've had to go shopping for some sturdy mens jeans for poor cheeky Patrick!

The best part about the trip was the people - they were so friendly and welcoming, and they all speak English so well there was no need for us to try out our embarrassingly rough attempts at speaking German!
I highly recommend the festival for any electronic music lovers - but book your hotel early!

Look at this:

Yes it is in England and yes the sun is shining loads. But look at the amazing picture.
I don't think you always have to go across the world to see wonderful sights. This is one of many shots I took that day when I went for a daytrip to Stonehenge. I have so many others saved on my sd memory card.
But isn't this one lovely!
